Why Art Journal

Art journaling combines the written language and the visual language to give a greater breadth of expression and understanding. In essence art journaling is the combination of art making and journaling with the intention to create greater insight and understanding of the self and others
The visual diary is a journal of the personal journey that reflects the way we experience life, providing the space for introspection
 .and personal expression
Art journaling is about expression, both written and visual, of emotions and thoughts; it is a space for questions that may not have answers, a  place for thoughts that may otherwise not have a home, a safe container for emotions so that they do not have to be loose in the world
.It helps us discover who we are and the life inside us
.Discover personal stories and our relationships with others
Explore the echoing memories and the aspects of yourself that wasn’t yet explored, such as expression of feelings, pain and distress
.questions and dilemmas, as well as experience beauty and joy
.The work on the diary is an excellent ground for experimenting with new materials
.It is also a learning space to explore creative and experiential ways that enable the development of a rich visual language
.During the course of our work we will learn a variety of techniques for creating artistic pages using print, stamping, collage, etching and stencils
.We will also experience in using different types of paint: panda, chalk, acrylic, water, ink
.All this in order to create stunning effects and a work without judgment - spontaneous, authentic, flowing and full of pleasure
